Greetings from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Global Maritime Crime Programme (GMCP).

We are pleased to invite your esteemed organization to participate in the upcoming training titled “Strengthening the Near Shore and Maritime Borders Through Public–Private Cooperation and Information Sharing”, to be held:

  • 12 – 19 October 2025 in Malé (for mid- to senior-level officers)

This training aims to foster collaboration between public and private stakeholders in the maritime domain, enhance operational trust, and promote effective responses to challenges such as illicit trafficking, corruption, and non-compliant shipping practices.

We believe your organization plays a vital role in the maritime ecosystem of the Maldives and would greatly benefit from and contribute to this initiative. The training will include scenario-based exercises, strategic discussions, and technical sessions designed to strengthen coordination and information sharing.
